About me and my lessons:
My name is Ben Norton, I am 18, and have an amazing passion for bass playing. I have reached grade 8 and have worked with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Skindred, Laura V, and many other amazing artists, as well as being in several bands in which range in style. I can play anything from funk to metal so am able to teach anything in which you wish to learn! My lessons take place in my home studio in Caterham, Surrey enabling a relaxed atmosphere pushing students to work at their full potential and creating the best possible sound through my studio. If a student is a beginner and doesn't have bass guitar I am more than happy to supply them with one of mine throughout the lesson matching it to the style they wish to learn. I am also happy to teach theory work if desired. In addition to this if a student is interested in purchasing a bass I will help advise them on one a well as helping them get one for the lowest price possible.
For a single hour lesson I charge a competitive price of £20 an hour, and offer the student their sixth lesson free. If there are any cancellations It would be appreciated to be notified 24hours in advance due to fitting all students in. I offer bass lessons any time after 6 o'clock weekdays, and any time during the day on Saturdays.
My goal is to push my students to their full potential, work hard, and most importantly have fun, as well as creating amazing bassists!
